Guides are published by the Vending.forsale Editorial Team, the team that operates this marketplace. Our day-to-day work is reviewing vending routes listed for sale, vetting location submissions from US businesses, and processing equipment finance applications — which is where the operating figures in our articles come from.

Where our numbers come from
Revenue, payback and price ranges in our guides are derived from listings and location submissions published on this marketplace, plus publicly available industry and government sources. Where a figure is an estimate or a range, we say so in the text rather than presenting it as a single fixed number.
What we verify before publishing
Route and location listings are reviewed before they appear publicly. Guides are checked against the marketplace data and the calculators on this site, so a reader can reproduce our maths with the ROI calculator instead of taking a number on trust.
How we handle estimates
Vending economics vary by state, venue and product mix. We publish ranges and the assumptions behind them (machine cost, commission, cost of goods, foot traffic) so you can substitute your own inputs.
Corrections policy
If a figure or claim is wrong, tell us through the contact form and we will correct the page and update its "last reviewed" date. Corrections that change a conclusion are noted in the article itself.
